How does the web design process work?
We use a 5-phase process. In phase 1, we perform analysis to clearly identify your needs and your vision. During the first phase, we will begin brainstorming SEO strategies and also guide you in preparing your content. Phase 2 is where we create the design for your website based on our discovery session(s) during phase 1. After you approve the design we move on to phase 3. This is where we begin developing your website adding your content, graphics, features, and coding as needed. In this phase, we also test and refine your website collaborating with you during the process. Once the development phase is completed, we move into phase 4 launch. This is when your website is ready to be published live. After your website is launched, we move to the final step, phase 5 maintenance. This last phase is when we will do a post-launch review, provide resources to help you maintain your website then your project is successfully completed.
How long does the entire process take?
The average process can take anywhere between 2 – 8 weeks depending on the complexity, readiness, and availability of the site content, graphics, approvals, and time frame needed to create and finalize the web design model. A redesign may take less time than a brand-new website because most of the content already exists.
